Real experience. Real empathy for growing businesses. Built by someone who's been in your shoes.

Messy spreadsheets. Manual processes that nobody questioned. Teams spending hours on work that should take minutes. Founders and senior leaders too busy firefighting to step back and fix what was really broken.
I know what that feels like, because I've lived it. For the past seven years I've worked inside fast-growing companies as the person responsible for making the numbers work. Not from a consultancy office or behind a strategy deck, but on the ground, in the detail, every single day.
I started my career in 2018 as a Finance Assistant at Nicoll Curtin, a London-based tech recruitment group. I had a chance to get involved in a lot of things: payroll, credit control, bank reconciliations, daily cashflow reports for the board. It was a crash course in how a real business actually runs. Within 18 months I was promoted to Assistant Management Accountant, helping implement a new ERP (Business Central) and billing system across the group. That experience taught me something that stuck: the right systems, set up properly, can change the entire rhythm of a business.
From there I joined Gazelle Global, an international recruitment consultancy, as Finance Officer. The finance function there had gaps, so I built core processes from scratch: management accounts, month-end accruals, overhead recharges, intercompany reconciliations. Within a year I was promoted to Finance Manager overseeing all EMEA operations, managing VAT across four European countries and liaising with accountants in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and France.
In 2022 I moved to Spacemade, a fast-scaling coworking and flexible workspace operator. I joined as Management Accountant looking after five entities and left four years later as Finance Manager responsible for seventeen. I built and led a team of five, set up an offshore delivery function, implemented new finance systems like Datasights, and cut our month-end close by six days. I also secured a credit facility to support the company's liquidity during rapid expansion.
Throughout all of this, one theme kept repeating: the businesses I worked in were growing faster than their systems could keep up. The tools existed to solve most of their problems, but nobody had the time, the cross-functional view, or the technical curiosity to connect the dots.
That's what Suzume AI is. It's the service I wish every business I've ever worked in had access to: someone who genuinely understands how a business operates from the inside, combined with a deep knowledge of modern tools and AI, who can come in and make things actually work better.
I'm not here to hand you a 60-page strategy deck and walk away. I'm here to sit alongside you, understand what's really going on, and help you fix it. Whether that's automating your month-end, choosing the right software stack, building a dashboard your board will actually use, or implementing AI tools that save your team hours every week.
I work best with SMEs and mid-sized businesses because I understand the reality: lean teams, tight budgets, and the need for every investment to deliver tangible value. That's the world I come from, and it's the world I'm building Suzume AI to serve.
